Using in-vivo voltammetry to demonstrate Drug Action: A student Laboratory experience in neurochemistry is a journal article which describes a laboratory session in which students gain experience of measuring neurotransmitter release in rats in-vivo.

This article describes the preparation of the animals, experimental equipment and procedures, data analysis and how the session fits in with the rest of the course.

It was developed by Dr Bergstrom, Muskingum University, Ohio USA and is published in the Journal of Undergraduate Neuroscience Education (Bergstrom BP (2012) JUNE 10 (2): A113-A117). Copyright is retained by the journal.

This laboratory session can be used in undergraduate student education as part of a larger in-vivo pharmacology or neurobiology course
